MOURNING TO THE GREAT LOSS OF DIEGO MARADONA (THE HAND OF GOD)

It is indeed true when the ex-president of Argentina FA Julio Grondona said “In Argentine football, there is a before and an after Maradona.” Such was the personality of one of the greatest Argentina legend footballer Diego Maradona. His sudden demise due to a heart attack on the 25th of November, 2020 has been the greatest loss for Argentine and the world. Three days of national mourning has been decreed in Argentina however, it would take a lifetime to overcome such a loss.

The Cosmic Kite will always be remembered for his magnificent perseverance to fulfill the wishes and dreams he desired for. In an interview, young Maradona once said “I have two dreams, one to win the world cup and two, to play in the world cup”. It did not take much time as both of his dreams were fulfilled with his sheer dedication and passion for his football. He not only won the World Cup but also won millions and millions of hearts around the world.

At the age of 60, the king of unpredictability, the Hand of God, and The cosmic Kite Diego Maradona will forever rest in peace. His works, his message of sheer dedication to what you love and follow and his games will forever stay in our hearts for life and beyond.
